The New Individualist Jan/Feb 2008

Volume 3: No. 1-2

“Above all, do not join the wrong ideological groups or movements, in order to      ‘do something.’”

—Ayn Rand, “What Can One Do?

                      Philosophy: Who Needs It?

OUR COVER:

The last time Stephen “Vodkapundit” Green wrote a feature story for us (March 2006), art director David Sims showcased it with a garish 1950’s sci-fi cover filled with giant ants and flying saucers. Now Steve returns with another feature –and David marks the occasion with another garish sci-fi cover: a spoof of a movie poster for The Abominable Dr. Phibes. Is David in a creative rut? Or is it simply that Congressman Ron Paul, M.D., deserves a creepy parody cover? The answers, respectively, are “no” and “yes.”
